The Heritage Walks
The original 'Hammerwich Walks' leaflets were researched, compiled, edited and tested by HEG members. Their production was made possible by a Local Heritage Initiative grant, which also paid for the initial printing of the glossy leaflets. To avoid ongoing reprinting costs, it was decided to reproduce the information included in each leaflet as a printable web page so that the walks could continue to be enjoyed by visitors to this website.
Each walk description can be found in a separate PDF file found in this section of the webste.
All walks start and end at the Youth and Community Centre in the heart of the village. "Walks 1-4" are circular walks and "Walk 5" returns by the retracing the outgoing route.
